Rishabh Pant became the second youngest Indian batsman to hit a T20I half-century. Chief selector MSK Prasad said that Rishabh Pant has been picked as a specialist batsman and MS Dhoni will still be the number one choice as the wicket-keeper.

In the forthcoming tour to Australia which is starting from November 21 with its first T20I of the three-match T20I series in Brisbane, MS Dhoni has been dropped. It would be interesting to watch Rishabh Pant in Australia and how India performs in the foreign conditions without Dhoni.
